Across 34 double-blind RCTs, ~370 mg/day magnesium lowered systolic blood pressure by ~2 mmHg and diastolic by ~1.8 mmHg over a median of 3 months.
Limitations and notes
Effect is real but small; framed as supporting normal blood-pressure regulation, not as a substitute for medication.
